Miles Boykin #81 Seahawks Jersey: My Honest Fan Review
As a Seattle Seahawks fan, I was really excited to order the Miles Boykin #81 jersey to wear to watch parties and game days. The online preview images look fantastic, with sharp graphics and a clean athletic cut, but there are some real drawbacks you should know before placing your order.
The biggest problem is the heat transfer printing used for the name and number. After just a couple wears and one gentle cold-water wash, the print began to harden. I’ve also noticed minor pilling forming along the edges of the graphics, which is disappointing for a jersey I planned to wear throughout the NFL season.
The sizing runs slightly small. I ordered my regular size, and it fits tight around the chest and shoulders. If you prefer a loose, relaxed fit, sizing up is a good idea. The jersey fabric itself is lightweight and breathable, which works well for outdoor tailgates. That said, the printed design feels far less durable than authentic official jerseys.
I’m asking other Seahawks fans here: do you have any reliable care tricks for heat-print football jerseys to stop them from pilling or peeling early?
