In this respect, the OTF automatic stiletto has the edge on the OTS folder, or any OTS folder, for that matter, for safety, too.

And then, of course, there is the fact that an OTF knife is just so much better on cool factor than an OTS knife is. They also don’t generate any rotational momentum and some OTF knives deploy a fraction more quickly than OTS folders as well. 

All of this being said, to summarize, a double action OTF automatic stiletto will be faster, safer, more fidget friendly, and more practical to use since you can deploy and retract the blade completely with one hand.
