A Resilient Seated Gate Valve, also known as a Sluice Gate Valve, is designed to start or stop the flow of water by lifting or lowering a resilient rubber-coated wedge inside the valve body. When the handwheel or electric actuator is operated, the gate moves vertically to fully open or completely close the pipeline. Because the gate moves completely out of the flow path when open, the valve offers full-bore flow with very low pressure loss.

Our resilient seated gate valves are manufactured with a ductile iron body and an EPDM-coated resilient wedge that provides a tight, leak-proof seal.
