Why the name Net Pals?

Well its a mix up of the term Pen pal. For many years, before the arrival of email, thousands of people hand wrote letters and mailed to friends across the world to keep in touch, share photos and ideas. I want Net Pals to be a true online version of that but with added features.

We may be a small fish in a big pond but we, like many friends, found that existing social platforms were too noisy and impersonal for people to find others who truly shared their unique interests. We wanted to build a better way. So we created Net Pals, a place where curiosity, creativity, and exploration could flourish. Our journey will be defined by the amazing individuals who join us and help shape what our network will become. From our first members sharing hobbies to the vibrant communities that exist today, you will at the heart of everything we do.
